Camille is due to perform at the Opera North Resonance Showcase on 8th September 2023.
Along with composer Mark Slater and percussionist Guy Schalom, Camille will be performing excerpts from their song cycle Mezzaterra. A fusion of Arabic and European musical styles in response to pharaonic hieroglyphs, contemporary poetry, art and sacred music, which examines what it means to be an outsider.
