Camille made her debut with Glyndebourne Tour in Autumn 2022, creating the role of ‘Oma’ in the newly commissioned glass human by Samantha Fernando and Melanie Wilson. Based on themes of loneliness, the work focused on three characters in different circumstances. ‘Oma’ is a Syrian refugee waiting for leave to remain in the UK, and experiencing the grief of losing her ten-year-old daughter on the journey across the English Channel.
